Anand Joins Carlsen at the Top Position, Topalov and Ivanchuk also register wins Morelia(Mexico), 26th Feb
Vishwanthan Anand joined Magnus Carlsen at the top of the point tally after the conclusion of 7th round of Morelia-Linares Super Grandmasters Chess Tournament this Sunday. Anand scored a fine black-piece victory over Peter Leko. While other two players namely, Vassily Ivanchuk and Veselin Topalov also got the better of their opponents.
Ivanchuk beat Levon Aronian while Topalov jerked Alexander Mirozevich.
Presently both Vishy Anand and Magnus Carlsen are the sharing the lead with 4.5 points.
Rest of the matches of the tournament shall be played at Linares, Spain.
